Etro’s Love letter to travel: Resort 2021 Collection

Italian fashion brand Etro eludes escapism vibes with their Resort 2021 collection

Let’s face it, we’re all dreaming off far flung shores right now. And Italian fashion house Etro allowed us to escape for a moment through its dreamy 2021 Resort collection, shown in Milan.

Presenting its Men’s Spring Summer ’21 and Women’s Resort ’21 collections at an informal gathering at Milan’s luxury Four Seasons Hotel, guests were taken on a whimsical international journey through versatile, evocative fashion that highlighted ETRO’s inspiration drawn from the world of travel.

Essentials were revamped. Stripes, Madras checks and the iconic Paisley motif give a distinctive, bold attitude to shirts, deconstructed suits, and also fabulously feminine maxi dresses to be effortlessly worn with flat shoes.

Vintage ties complement the overall carefree elegance of the looks. Jacquard cardigans were stylishly cinched at the waist with embroidered belts worn with plissé skirts. Exquisite intarsia adorn both the denim shirts and the suede jackets, and floral camouflage patterns cover Bermuda pants and lightweight field jackets.

The overall look is effortless. A touch wild-thing. A bit sporty-chic.

ETRO travelers are destined to explore the world in 2021 carrying foldable totes in archival material and cross-body pouches in brand’s signature Paisley motifs. They’ll discover new horizons through the colorful lenses of the new ETRO x CARRERA COLLECTORS EDITION eyewear, a unisex re-edition of Carrera’s iconic Champion aviator style, dating back to the Eighties, in a summery color palette of lemon yellow, intense red, candy pink, forest green, night blue and shiny black.
