Whether you are a Dubai resident or simply visiting (and let’s face it will probably consider moving here) you have to tick a brunch at Saffron at Atlantis off your Arabian bucket list.
Saffron brunch is undoubtedly one of the most fun and indeed, craziest Fridays you will ever experience. Admittedly, not the most luxurious or classiest of affairs but for the sheer fun-factor, it’s worth a visit. Just perhaps don’t take your parents.
Following the theme of all you can eat and of course, all you can drink, Saffron is a four-hour feast where it’s best to leave your inhibitions firmly at the door.
Frequently cited as ‘the best brunch in Dubai’ Saffron has a lot to live up to, and whilst it isn’t somewhere you would want to (or be able to afford to) go to every week, one thing is for sure, you won’t leave the same person as you came!
With an abundance of different dishes from some 20+ live food stations, everything from dim sum to yorkshire puddings is served up to hungrybrunchers. All that eating is thirsty work and Saffron certainly doesn’t disappoint, with numerous drinks stations dotted around the restaurant the only decision you’ll need to make is whether to wash your shot of Jägermeister down with a strawberry daiquiri or a glass of fizz as you’re entertained by Saffron’s resident DJ.
There’s dancing, there’s drinking and there’s a lot of debauchery.
There are nicer brunches to do in Dubai and at AED 550 there are definitely cheaper brunches to be enjoyed but one things for sure, you’d be hard pushed to find a more entertaining and unpretentious brunch in the UAE.
