Like nearly all of Augustinus Bader products, The Essence with TFC8®, Exfoliating Toner is anchored by TFC8®, Professor Bader’s proprietary Trigger Factor Complex of natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins and synthesized molecules that support skin’s innate repair processes. To this formula were added three hydroxy acids (phytic, salicylic and gluconolactone) to mildly exfoliate surface skin cells, which subsequently also improves skin’s ability to retain moisture. Also included are wasabi ferment, an antioxidant that protects skin from environmental aggressors, and white peony flower to help hydrate, soothe and protect skin from pollution.
