We love nothing more than a new season sneaker to update our cas-luxe wardrobes with, and Givenchy have yet again, done us proud.
Unveiling the Givenchy Spectre – an ultra-light, urban style sneaker collection that is set to be the footwear of choice for the fashion A-list this Spring/Summer 2020.
Inspired by high-performance running shoes, and shown on the runway paired with stylish, technical track pants, this season’s high-top takes its cues from running & hiking. The gaiter style sports a nylon upper in shiny black or matte white and features a bonded zip and rubber patch strap on the black version, or a drawstring function on the white version. Both shoes incorporate a lightweight sole with iconic “Givenchy” lettering – fashionable footprints in the sand anyone?
The Givenchy Spectre also comes in a slip-on running shoe style, in ripstop nylon and leather (white, black, navy, yellow and gray),also with the House’s signature lettering and graphic sole.
Rounding out the Givenchy Spectre family is a color-blocked runner sock with a graphic, bonded runway print (in five different tri-color versions). This pull-on style also exists in monochrome black with “Givenchy” lettering.
A distinctive urban style statement, the Givenchy Spectre features padded footbeds and exceptional flexibility for ease of wear. The Givenchy Spectre range of sneakers for men will launch in early February 2020; women’s styles will follow in March.
