It’s finally time to embrace the cooler months and head outdoors for some movie magic and beach bliss. And that means heading to Azure Beach at Rixos Premium.
Relax under the stars as you catch a movie at Sea-nema, the much-loved open-air cinema that is reopening for the winter season on 6 November. Enjoy a relaxed outdoor movie experience on the lawn of Azure Beach for only AED50 per person up until January. Showing a range of classics every Wednesday at 9:30pm, guests can enjoy the sea breeze whilst reclining on comfortable beanbags and single seats alongside cosy sofas ideal for couples.
Kicking off with the blockbuster Dark Knight Rises, the November schedule features other ‘sea–nematic’ smash hits, including F8 The Fate of the Furious and Suicide Squad. In December, visitors can watch Logan, Avengers: Endgame, A Star Is Born, and The Grinch shown as a Christmas special. January screenings include The Devil Wears Prada, Rocketman, Crazy Rich Asians, Crazy Stupid Love and Aladdin.
For the ultimate movie night, a special menu is available with a range of cinema snacks, including pizzas, hot dogs, loaded fries with a variety of toppings, and of course, popcorn. Hops options in bottles and buckets are also available for guests to enjoy.
Further to the weekly Sea–nema nights, the beach club is also upping its Saturday game with a variety of bi-weekly pop-up experiences “Azure Loves Saturdays” and activations, starting with a ‘Riviera party’ on 16th November.
In partnership with a Russian spirit brand (Grey Goose), Azure will transform into an instagrammers’ dream complete with branded photo props, parasols and pool floaters, along with a cool ice cream cart offering refreshing Grey Goose sorbets and espresso martini ice creams.
On 30th November, Azure will host ‘Corona Sunsets: Sound of the Beach’ where guests can expect a festival vibe complete with engaging activities such as DIY dreamcatcher making, tribal art and drum sessions. Beach activities include volleyball, stand-up paddle classes and yoga sessions.
Azure will also transform into an organic, open-air gallery, showcasing Corona’s Zero Waste Art with pieces that are entirely made from sustainable materials, highlighting Corona’s Clean Waves initiative.
