Buddha-Bar Beach to make Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi

When the news landed on our desk that Buddha-Bar Beach is set to open later this year at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, we were obviously very excited.

Fans of the Buddha-Bar concept worldwide, from London and Paris to our hometown of Dubai, the new day-to-night destination will be the fourth of its kind in the world, bringing a combination of Pan-Asian cuisine, legendary cocktails and music to the emirates’ capital. It was also be the first permanent destination of its kind with currently only seasonal venues appearing in swanky locations such as Santorini and Mykonos.

Buddha-Bars across the globe are celebrated for their distinctive energy and unforgettable atmosphere. Since 1996, when the very first Buddha-Bar opened in Paris, they have attracted global influencers and celebrities from around the globe. The concept was born in France in 1996 in the chicest street in the French capital, Rue Faubourg St Honoré.

Now, Buddha-Bar Beach takes the urban brand al fresco and will be open from morning until late. Maestro mixologists will concoct exquisite cocktails to complement its gastronomic treats, which blend Japanese, Thai, and other Asian flavors with Mediterranean flair. Buddha-Bar DJs will provide the perfect musical soundtrack to an unforgettable Abu Dhabi experience, complete with culinary events, guests DJs, and nightly entertainment and performers.

Resting on pristine sands affording panoramic views of the sea, the luxurious St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi attracts a savvy, sophisticated clientele and is the perfect location for the soon to open Buddha-Bar Beach.
