The temperatures heating up Insiders and as the mercury continues to rise we’re resigned to our fate of staying inside in air-conditioned bliss for the next 2-4 months. Dubai Opera


Since it’s inception last year, Dubai Opera has quite literally changed our lives. Now we can enjoy the musical delights normally reserved for other worldwide cities in our very own metropolis and whilst show season may be coming to an end, you can still enjoy a visit to this iconic Dubai building during June to watch the PSA Dubai World Series Finals and early September sees the much anticipated classical ballet-opera combination Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro (Le Nozze Di Figaro).

Bounce Dubai


If you’re up for some energetic fun then this indoor trampoline park that has branches in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, is right up your street. Being kid and big-kid friendly, this urban playground boasts over one hundred interconnected trampolines. From perfecting your back flip to slam-dunking at the attached wall hoops, Bounce is a whole lot of bouncing brilliance.

Ski Dubai



From pretending you’re whizzing down the slopes of Val d’Isère to getting up close and personal with McFatty, one of the resort’s famed penguins, Ski Dubai really does offer something for everyone. Quite possibly the most perfect way to escape the summer heat (if sub-zero temperatures are your thing) this huge 22,500 square meter indoor ski park not only features an 85-metre high indoor mountain with 5 slopes of varying steepness but also a huge Snow Park play area complete with toboggan runs, zorbs and an icy body slide.

The Lost Chambers Aquarium


It’s one of Dubai’s most iconic tourist attractions and as you walk through the glass tunnels of The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis The Palm you’ll understand why. IMG Worlds of Adventure


It’s Dubai’s first mega themed entertainment park and this temperature-controlled indoor amusement park is a great day out. Conveinently located in the heart of Dubai, along Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, you can amuse yourself in four ‘epic zones’: Cartoon Network and Marvel, IMG Boulevard and the Lost Valley with its dinosaur adventure focus. Get your heart racing on the adrenaline filled roller coasters, interact with Cartoon Network characters and be amazed at the hair-raising dinosaurs.
