The at-home blow-out just got that bit more stylish thanks to the anticipated launch of the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer.
Dyson, the famed electronics brand most well known for their sophisticated vacuums and illusion cooling fans have created a brand new take on the hairdryer, a necessity for any girl (or boy) with luscious locks.
We’ve all been in the position where we’ve found ourselves tangled in the lengthy, bulky wire of a heavy hair dryer, reluctant to perform the chore that transforms us from drowned rat into someone much more glamorous, subject to extreme heat damage and running the risk of longer locks being sucked into and trapped in the filter. Thanks to the geniuses at Dyson, this scenario looks set to be a thing of the past.
The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer uses a fast but focused airflow, is engineered for balance in the hand, is a whisper compared to other models on the market and intelligently controls temperature to help protect hair from heat damage.
A hefty AED 268 million has been invested in the development of the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer including the creation of a state of the art laboratory dedicated to investigating the science of hair. Yes, really. Dyson engineers studied hair from the root to the tip, understanding how it reacts to stresses and exploring how best to keep it healthy.
This nifty, little gadget is powered by the patented Dyson digital motor V9, created in-house by a team of over 15 motor engineers specifically working on this handheld machine. It is in fact, Dyson’s smallest, most advanced digital motor to date.
The Dyson Supersonic™ is up to eight times faster than other hair dryer motors and half the weight and because the motor is compact (yet powerful) it is positioned in the handle rather than the head. Furthermore, The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer has intelligent heat control which helps to ensure that the hair isn’t exposed to excessive temperatures and its patented Air Multiplier™ technology ensures that a high velocity jet of air is exported a welcome change from the weak airflow of traditional hair dryers.
So not only is this exciting bit of kit more powerful than ever before, it’s also quieter meaning it won’t interrupt your favourite TV programme for expert multi-tasking.
Expected to be on sale in 2017, stay tuned for further updates.
