Our homes are already filled with Diptyque candles and room sprays and our bodies are adorned in the sweet smell of scent, such is our dedication to our favourite luxury French fragrance brand.
Now, they’ve really excelled themselves by joining forces with Franco-British designer, Olympia Le-Tan, who learnt her trade at Chanel and Balmain nonetheless and launched her very own accessories line back in 2009. She is the design mastermind that brought us the now famous book clutch bag, a regular on the red carpet being clutched by A-listers galore. Since then Le-Tan has gone on to conquer the ready-to-wear market with beautiful feminine creations, a combination of cutting edge style and femininity. We love her for her staple eccentric embroidery and magical creations that speaks of love and happiness and all things wonderful.
Her collection for Diptyque is no different. Touchingly entitled ‘The Key to my Heart is in my Bag’ the Rosa Viola collection is a beautiful, lustworthy limited edition range of candles, scented ovals and solid perfume and we would like it all. Please. Thank you.
The iconic Diptyque logo has been reinvented to represent this collection. Myriad kisses surround the logo in shades of rose and violet. Rose, a universal symbol of love and an eponymous flower, is the colour of the collection with bubblegum pink products perfect for any girl’s bedroom and violet,is a cheerful, harmonious flower, and when combined they offer a touch of eccentricity and humour to this sophisticated brand.
