With a longer wheelbase, extended interior space and low aerodynamic drag, this car is much more than a pretty face. The design of this model also offers vast improvements on the already near-perfect previous model in both packaging and proportions. Sure it possesses an unrivalled dynamic design formed around Jaguar’s aluminim-intensive architecture and boasts the sleek lines of all Jaguar cars, but this model outshines its predecessor significantly. For starters, the new Jaguar XF may retain the old model’s core attributes but using the aluminium-intensive architecture enables a weight saving of around 190kg, this coupled with an increase in torsional stiffness up to 28% makes for a noticeable difference.
