Watch lovers rejoice, Richard Mille’s boutique in Abu Dhabi has reopened with a new international design concept.
We love Richard Mille, the luxury Swiss watchmaker worn by the global elite and one of the reasons for this is that in watch manufacturing terms if it still relatively in its infancy, being born in 1999. For a watch brand to establish itself so highly worldwide in little over a decade in almost unheard of yet Richard Mille, founded by a French businessman of the same name has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. The company was in fact founded in collaboration with Audemars Piguet and has seen several high-profile brand ambassadors over the years including Brazilian F1 driver Felipe Massa, Spanish Tennis Player Rafael Nadal and the Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake, but is totally most often found adorning the wrists of many a well-known financier.
Richard Mille boasts numerous models but perhaps its most well-known include the Tourbillon RM 008 (chrono) and the sapphire split seconds (chrono) RM 056. The RM 008 combines a tourbillon movement with manual winding, a chronograph split-seconds, a torque indicator and a power reserve indicator and is claimed to be one of the most advanced watches in the world, priced at a mere 500,000 Euro. We’ll take two then…
