Never one to shy away from world-records, the UAE is set to do it again. Dubai has the Burj Khalifa and Abu Dhabi are set to get the world’s steepest roller coaster.
Ferrari World, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi have recently announced plans to build the steepest roller coaster ever. Entitled ‘Flying Aces’, the coaster will feature ‘gravity-defying loops and swoops’ and will definitely not be for the faint-hearted. However, thrill seekers can rejoice as the attraction will also feature a starting hill inclined by 51 degrees and the world’s tallest loop at some hair-raising 52 metres!
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi already houses the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Formula Rossa, who reaches speeds of 240km/h in approximately five seconds, thats 150mph!
“There are very few theme parks that have undertaken such a significant expansion as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi,” said Jesse Vargas, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “Flying Aces will be another one-of-a-kind ride that you can only find at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Its design and storyline are deeply rooted in the rich history of Ferrari.”
